- Sourced from NASA EONET, refreshed every 6 hours.
- Open means EONET is still tracking the event (e.g. an active wildfire or a storm still moving); closed means it's been marked finished. "Open" doesn't necessarily mean "happening right this second" — some open events go a while between updates.
- Each event has one or more tracked points over time (location, date, and sometimes a magnitude like wind speed) — see an event's own page for its full track.
