Lightning triggered dozens of forest fires in Siberia in late June, and may have burned 3000 hectares. The fires are located in remote areas, and reportedly do not pose a threat to inhabited areas at this time, but a state of emergency has been declared in Kezhemskogo, Boguchansky, Evenki and Motyginsky districts.
