Reliability of Brazed Joints at Elevated Temperatures

Description

Standard lap shear and butt tensile specimens will be brazed and tested to determine shear and tensile allowables at room and 250°C temperature; FADs will be constructed for each test temperature. Verification test specimens subjecting the brazed joints to multiaxial loading will be brazed and tested at room and 250°C temperature to validate FADs, GSFC Collaborators: David Puckett Farrokh Babak
