Description

ALLSAS Seedling Study is focused on developing a plan for a 10kW Solar Array suitable for use at the Lunar South Pole. Such an array will require independent deployment and retraction on a 10 meter mast as well as a stable platorm that allows for this deployment on uneven ground. The purpose of the seedling study it to develop the actual KPP values for the array as well as a plan to develop the underlying technology.

Benefits

The basket of technologies envisioned for ALLSAS will enable the continuous presence on the Lunar surface planned for the 2028 timeframe.
