Description

Provide handling and ride qualities (HQ and RQ) guidelines and flight dynamics and control modeling tools for urban air mobility (UAM) vehicle design, validated with data acquired from human subject testing in Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 environments.

Benefits

This work will provide guidelines and tools to inform early design decisions that affect vehicle HQ and RQ. Informed design decisions will reduce cost and schedule risk associated with UAM vehicle development, deployment, and market economics, specifically pertaining to HQ and RQ requirements.
