The concept is to have a panel of "Marshall Sharks" consisting of program and project managers, engineering senior manager(s), and the Center Chief Technologist. Proposers will pitch their ideas in 2-5 minutes to the panel, and will be quizzed by the Sharks. Decisions on award will be made on the spot. This is being accomplished in partnership with NASA/MSFC program and project offices, engineering directorate, and the NASA FIRST team.
There is a continuing need to promote innovation and raise awareness of its value to NASA programs and projects, as discussed in the May 2016 Senior Management Council. The proposed CIF agile opportunity holds great potential to address this need for the agency. This event strongly supports the purposes of the CIF Program.
