Description

The George Research Group at the University of Colorado will coat FiberForm with alternating layers of oxidation resistant thermal barrier coatings. The coated samples will be delivered to NASA Ames and subjected to materials testing to verify improved material properties.

Benefits

Increase performance of PICA via thermal barrier coatings (TBC's). Characterize and measure material properties of FiberForm coated with TBC's.
