This project's objective is to develop a reference autonomous system for in-space fuel-transfer operations using NPAS (NASA Platform for Autonomous Systems), and generate a high fidelity knowledge model of the fuel-transfer system and include ISHM (anomaly detection, diagnosis, awareness) and autonomous operations according to the Gateway autonomy design.
Benefits include potential opportunities to work with commercial partners are expected, since autonomous refueling will need to be supported by Gateway module.
