•The goal of this IRAD is to add capability to an engineering ATD model to allow for feasible trajectory designs for the Earth-Moon and Sun-Earth regimes.
•Added capabilities will include: Generating Earth-Moon Orbits, Designing outbound transfers in the Earth-Moon/Sun-Earth regimes, and Meshing the dynamical systems together so that optimal (low DV cost) transfers can be found between the two
•With the enhancements that will be developed under this, feasible, low-cost transfer trajectories can be found for both the Sun-Earth and Earth-Moon regimes. These designs will help determine the size of the servicing vehicle (by defining the required delta-v/propellant needed) and help determine where servicing can be done the easiest (whether at the mission orbits themselves, or in an Earth-Moon orbit like the NRHO.
•This effort will help meet NASA’s priorities for servicing and Libration Point mission design.
