Description

Provide proof-of-concept of a virtual reality enhanced smoke mask system capable of providing real-time instrument information and feedback with wearer tracking for use in aircraft; spacecraft; ships; and other low-visibility-prone areas.

Benefits

The eventual development of a smoke mask with virtual reality capabilities as the next generation safety equipment combating smoke in cockpit emergencies. Device will display instrumentation readings and cockpit views; and track hand movements to guide the pilots to desired instruments and controls.
