Demonstrate the Reversible Auto-aligning Dusty Interface for Autonomous Latching (RADIAL) Connector in representative use cases for tasks like lunar excavation and payload deployment leveraging prototypes and test rigs developed under two different prior CIF awards.
Benefits
Develop a modular robotic interface that can satisfy all surface operations requirements while also being genderless to increase interoperability between systems and reduce risk of single-point failures.
