Ultra-stable hyperspectral imaging spectrometer

Description

We aim to demonstrate a novel infrared hyperspectral imaging concept that pairs Wisconsin-Wedges (modified Babinet-Soleil Compensator) type Fourier Transform Spectrometers (WW-FTS) developed by Brimrose Technology Corp. (BTC) and the University of Wisconsin (UW) with Strained Layer Superlattice (SLS) detectors.

Benefits

SLS paired with WW-FTS enables inexpensive and compact footprints opening new flight opportunities to fly infrared hyperspectral imagers for Earth science applications.
