STV Architecture Study

Description
This work will fund the GSFC portion of the STV Architecture Study, which started in Fall 2023, in partnership with JPL (already funded). In 8 months, the study will develop performance models for the leading candidates for high-resolution topography mapping including radar, lidar and passive imaging approaches, examine orbital regimes in both LEO and MEO to assess the mission performance and collections statistics with candidate system concepts, and evaluate the approximate costs for candidate architectures.
