This project seeks to advance the integrated modeling infrastructure required to navigate design interdependencies and compare potential mission design options
Benefits
NASA Astrophysics Division (APD) has issued contracts to industry to carry out a two-year Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO) critical technologies maturation development program. These critical technologies include system approaches to ultra-stability and integrated coronagraphs that advance the design maturity (e.g., Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of components and system) and identify future technology investments. These advancements will enable HWO maturation and implementation strategies.
