Description
Proposal will start the development of a flight-rated X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer as an in-situ analytical tool for Artemis III/IV and a path to Mars application. The XRF spectrometer will be used in a a study to demonstrate instrument sensitivity and operation requirements.
Benefits
This technology to verify the quality of products from several ISRU technologies can be infused into Mars missions.
