Description
To develop a mission concept for the T-34 and the necessary flight systems to enable rapid, low-cost, repeatable access to a spectrum of flight environments for the evaluation of novel sensors, pilot displays, novel actuators, and algorithms. Start open loop with control loop closed by the pilot based on displays and full RFCS closed loop capability in out years.
Benefits
The expected outcome of this initial effort is a mission concept for the aircraft systems and a high level plan for the design along with stakeholder buy-in that validates the need and will provide an initial pipeline of experiments for the capability.
