Description

We propose developing COMPASS, a compact space weather sensor suite integrating novel 3D-printed miniaturized science grade magnetometer technology for comprehensive Space Situational Awareness. The system provides critical measurements of particle fluxes, magnetic fields, and radiation while dramatically reducing SWaP enabling mass production through additive manufacturing techniques of conductive coils and ceramic structure. COMPASS targets deployment across commercial and government satellite constellations with direct infusion into the vLEO Tech Demo planned for CY26/CY27.
