Description

Armstrong has a heritage of autocoding algorithms developed in Matlab Simulink for use in flight applications. It has become increasingly apparent these efforts are limited by (1) the performance of the hardware targets, (2) cost of proprietary tool chains and real time operating systems, and (3) inability to support Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) simulation. Targeting Embedded Linux with an ARM processor can address these issues.
