New FY17 Virtual Flight Instrument Model: Mentor Graphics System Vision VHDL-AMS Modeling Tool

Description

The Mentor Graphics System Vision Modeling Tool uses VHDL-AMS is a multi-physics system modeling tool that provide the capability to model systems of different energy domains including optical, thermal, electrical, mechanical, etc.

Benefits

Using this tool/technology permits system designers to evaluate various subsystem topologies prior to commiting to a hardware prototype.

This technology will permit system designers to evaluate complete flight instrument systems no matter their size. It will also assist in the development of the verification planning of the completed instrument.
