Description

The approach is use SAO for modeling the performance and then design an instrument.

Benefits

Goal is to develop a Focusing Critical Angle Transmission (FCAT) grating for slitless x-ray spectrographs. This work utilizes reflective grazing to focus significantly more of X-ray engery than has previously been accomplished into a single mode to improve x-ray observation capabilities.
