Description
Validation of JPL models for disperson of solid particles driven by gas dynamics using a MSFC Test stand with upgraded diagnostics
Benefits
Goal is validation of plume and surface interaction models. Extremely important for lunar and eventually mars landing and ascent activities. This work will help develop models and impacts of plume ejecta; helping the engineering not only of landing/ascent vehicles but also surface assets that may be impacting by these maneuvers.
