Generating Durable Gaskets from the Byproduct of ECLSS Bosch Reaction

Description
The project will create molds and produce gaskets with silicon rubbers and carbon by-product to produce gaskets. Mechanical property characterization of the final prudct will be performance.
Benefits
The planned long duration ECLSS is moving towards a Bosch reaction process that can reclaim 100% of the oxygen from CO2, but produces 1 kg per day of pure carbon byproduct. The proposal uses the byproduct as an additive in cast fabrications of gaskets (can be used for other elements).
