Development of New Enhanced Measurement Techniques and Synergies for Continuous Air Quality Observations

Description

This project brings together three separate earth science teams in order to better understand validation instrumentation synergy that is applicable directly within NASA's Earth Science Division. It is critically needed to bring these researchers together to acquire test data that can be properly suitable for large scale Earth Venture Suborbital concepts. Specifically, we need to understand and evaluate potential chemical differences based on instrumentation types, atmospheric scanning angle, and atmospheric corrections.

Benefits

By looking at metrics and statistics, we can then properly unify a measurement strategy with test data to create a new capability to match unmet needs within NASA's Earth Science Division. This will ultimately help NASA's overall validation efforts and potentially decrease the amount of effort needed to deploy individual NASA assets.
