Development and optimization of Spark Plasma Sintering process for supercapacitor fabrication. Optimization of materials and coatings to yield highest energy density that is comparable to Li ion commercial energy storage

Benefits

Solid state energy storage devices that are completely safe in terresterial and space environments. Benefits of solid state storage are: rapid charging and no degradation of performance through many charging cycles. Much lower mass and volume than electrochemical energy storage systems.
